Kick Ass!!!

KICK ASS was epically satisfyingly!!!

This movie surpassed ALL of my expectations!!!

I thought it was going to be another run of the mill corny, coming of age, superhero (w/o the real superhero) movie....well it was NOTHING like that!!!

This movie was deliciously gruesome and graphic for all the right reasons. it was no short of dark humor and comedy but the one who really took the cake Chloe Moretz AKA Hit Girl <-- She's one to watch out for . Nicholas Cage was another one who pleasingly surpassed my expectations which were subpar but he revitalized my interest in him as an actor.

I left the movie pumped up and ready to take on the world.

I URGE ALL THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA TO GO SEE KICK ASS.

Alice in Wonderland

There have been a barrage of mixed reviews about this movie.

I think those who weren't in favor of it went in with their own expectations with hope that it would be something like the original story but lest not forget Tim Burton had a hand in it so hence it was NOT going to be ANYTHING like the original- I was content with that.

I actually enjoyed the movie with it all its flagrant colors and detailed visage.I actually went to see it in theaters and thought the 3-d glasses were unnecessary but nonetheless I thought the storyline was unique and if anything more straight forward than the original... I do warn you though if you intend to watch this on acid you WILL be tripping BALLS!!!!

I watched this moving with high expectations because two of my favorite actors, Lukas Haas and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are in it....

The movie is a post-modern film noir....centering around the protagonist, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who tries to solve the murder of his ex-girlfriend...
....the movie follows various H.S. students who instead of reading books are playing adult games ..

...underneath the simplicity of it's tone there is an entire underground world of drug dealers, secrets, lies, and murder(s)....

It was a bit pretentious at times but it stays true to the genre.
