Just Seen: The Boys are Back, Case 39, The Men who Stare at Goats, Couples Retreat, The Stepfather, Brothers

The Boys are Back:

Cute family movie. Clive Owen is always refreshing to watch.
4 out 5

Case 39:

If you're looking for a creepy devil child movie then this is some what like that; poorly done I think. The ending was as distasteful as the plot line. Not Renee Zellwiger's best work but everyone needs to get paid right? (she should stick to romantic comedies)
1.5 out 5

The Men Who Stare at Goats:

Interesting duo-George Clooney and Ewan McGregor. It was an interesting mash of military antics, secret projects, thrown in w/ jedi warriors and psychic soldiers. The story didnt really develop well and I wasn't satisfied at the end though.
3.5 out of 5

Couples Retreat:

Not as funny as it should have been. They could have done a lot more with this. I expect mroe from you Vince Vaughn!!!! (lol..no i don't)
2.5 out of 5

Brothers:

Tobey McGuire was intense. Good plot, enough suspense and intensity to keep me glued.
4 out 5

The Stepfather:

Lame. Plot sucked, ending sucked, and the acting sucked. Penn Badgley is lucky he has Gossip Girls to fall back on.
1.5 out of 5
